Silos Estate Telephone Cable Chardonnay 2009

In 2009, we deliberately picked early  we were after a lighter, refreshing wine  and lower in alcohol.  We think we succeeded  it has developed classic white peach and pear notes and surprisingly zesty character.   This may have had something to do with the telephone cable that was accidentally dug up during the planting of this block.  In any case, the bill from Telstra was pretty zesty.
